Micro-Manager support for Canon EOS cameras?

Hi,
is it possible to get EOS cameras (esp. 1100D) supported by Micro-Manager software?

I found four hits for "Canon" on the Micro-Manager
hardware support page. Did they not work out?

I have been poking at Micro-Manager a little. It lets you use the
gphoto2 command line utilities as a plug in, and those utilities support
over 2400 cameras, including a Canon EOS 1100D for: Image Capture, Trigger Capture, Liveview, and Configuration.
