My advice is to maybe find one on Ebay and a USA seller... Ebay makes them be responsible sellers..

Not all items for sale on Ebay are auctions - a great many are Buy It Now. Some are even Best Offer.

Sorry to hear of the delay.

There is a DIY option that can work very well. Here is a picture

It is a simple tube that slides down over your eyepiece and eyepiece tube. It provides a steady rest for you to hold your phone against. It completely takes care of maintaining the proper spacing from the eyepiece, all you have to do is center the lens over the eyepiece.

I made mine out of foam and duct tape. You could use anything that you can form into a tube. Cardboard would work fine.

THIS IS THE KEY TO MAKING THIS WORK

The tube must "seat" in the same place everytime AND you must experiment and find the exact length to cut it to that provides a sharp and clear edge of field of your eyepiece in your photos

Make the tube long, try it. If you do not a sharp edge in the field, and the image is small, it means the tube is too long. Trim it a bit, and try again.

Eventually you will get it the right length and taking a photo will be as simple as putting the tube on the scope, holding phone against the tube, center the lens over the tube, focus and shoot.

You should be able to find the materials very inexpensively, if not free, and you can make and use it today.

That's a very clever DIY adapter! Why didn't I think of that? Looks as though something similar could be made for a point and shoot camera as well.

By shipping me a slight used one in good condition
