I have a lot of shark teeth I sifted out of the north east Florida coast several years ago, I was more interested in prehistoric mammal bones than the teeth, but interesting anyway.

Fossils hey? I never would have guessed. I had a white one when I was young, a necklace thing but the black ones do have appeal.

I just got around to it and took a few photos of several of these small shark teeth.

The left one is impressive, like it has a double saw blade in its mouth...

I may be able to obtain a little better photo of it and a few more. This old scope needs a little cleaning.

That is what makes them so dangerous.. they do a twisting with the head and the teeth saw through things..
This causes a tremendous amount of damage..

Thanks for the link, Bill. Read it through. In fact, years ago I watched a TV program about these 1916 shark attacks in NJ. It was on the History Channel or National Geographic Channel.

Thanks, I hope we can have a little micro-fossil interest and photo`s at some point in time. But if the specimen can fit on the stage and focus to some degree we can look at it.
Warning, don`t crash an objective down on a hard rock.

Micro fossils are a very interesting study... Foraminifera is another ... Not all of them are fossils..
