Comet Iwamoto Ascends and Brightens..

#1 Post by billbillt » Sat Feb 09, 2019 12:57 am

Tag along with Comet Iwamoto (C/2018 Y1) as it scurries from Virgo to Leo in the coming week. It's already 7th magnitude and visible in binoculars from a dark sky.

It has been cloudy in my area for weeks, and it doesn't look like its going to clear soon, expecting more snow all week.. thanks for the heads up.

Thanks for the link! Will be following the comet's progress there. It's going to be mostly cloudy here for the next week at least, with some rain and snow.
