my zeiss condenser support 1000x darkfield?

Here you can discuss different microscopic techniques and illumination methods, such as Brightfield, Darkfield, Phase Contrast, DIC, Oblique illumination, etc.

Probably, but I have never tried to go that high on the rotating phase condenser's Darkfield stop (Position "D")
If it does, a 100x objective with an internal iris that reduces the NA (numerical aperture) to well below that of the condenser is needed.

Note: You will need to oil both the objective and the condenser to the slide for it to work.

See image for a 100x objective with iris that drops the NA from 1.25 to 0.8

To add to 75RR's explanation: I use the same 465277 condenser with an iris 40X/1.0 oil objective, and DF is only obtained when the NA is lower than 1.0, by rotation of the iris ring. As explained in great detail around a year ago, for example by Apochronaut, on this forum, the numerical aperture (NA) is the limiting factor. The NA of the objective must be significantly lower than the NA of the condenser. This is true for all magnifications. Moreover, this condenser D position produces darkfield with NAs of 0.5-0.7 of DRY objectives, IF the condenser is oiled to the slide.

You mean, that the specimen is sandwiches between two 0.17mm-thick coverslips, instead of a 1mm-thick slide and a coverslip?

I do not see how one could adapt the Zeiss 46 52 77 Phase condenser to fit on the leitz diavert.

A look at Graham Matthews' web page is not encouraging either: http://micromagus.net/microscopes/diavert.html

Note that what he attempted (provisionally) was adapting a dedicated Zeiss Darkfield condenser, which are much smaller. Not one of the large rotating phase ones.

I suggest you look into the steps and equipment that the Leitz Diavert manual indicates are needed to achieve Darkfield.

Since the darkfield effect is achieved by teaming the appropriate NAs, I doubt that a different thickness slide will improve the result.
Also, you might read the following post, OP ajmckay, from Dec. 17, 2017 (almost exactly a year ago!), titled "slide thickness for darkfield":
viewtopic.php?t=5550
to the end, it reminds that a very thin slide will be too far from the condenser front lens for contact via oil.

Furthermore: please consider 75RR's comments above, about the impracticality of combining this condenser with a Leitz Diavert.
