GUF #2

I'd like to use the GUF but my filter holder only accepts a round filter whereas all I see are rectangular strips. I can use Photoshop CC to create a round gradient but I don't know whether that would work or not. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Paul

A round one that drops into your filter holder will not work.
The GUF filter needs to be moved around. Place it on top of the filter holder.

You can also try laying the filter on top of the lamp if it does not get too hot.

Thanks, I;ll try those suggestions. Since I've tried making and using various oblique filters I'm constantly replacing filters and I have to unmount the condenser each time, I'm thinking of using a nikon condenser that uses a slider so I can quickly change filters. My condenser takes a 37 mm condenser and these seem pretty standard.
