my microscope color filters

Ok since I am starting new in this
I figure you microscopist
Must microbiologist doctors
Or some kind of professional career
I have 3 microscope filters
1 green and 1 light blue
And the other 1 frosted blue filter.
I am ask you seasoned pros
To the uses of these 3 filters.
Please inform me.

As the reference says, it is usually used for other purposes, but since you already own it you may try it and see.

Go ahead and experiment, if you like the effect, use it.

Hi MicroInspector,
The strong green filter is often used to eliminate spurious colour artifacts in phase contrast, the light blue filter may be used to achieve a better (more natural) colour balance when using tungsten illumination, I don't know what the frosted blue filter may be for.
