LED Flashlight Substage for Sidelight

I was inspired by all the experimentation with LED for sidelight and darkfield illumination.
For sidelight and to replace the stop filters I started using a small LED flashlight that is powered by USB. When it is appropriate the flashlight replaces the main light source. I can also dim the main light source using an adjustable neutral density filter.

density filter. I found the first results very promising.
