EPI unintentional

#1 Post by georgetmacro » Wed May 29, 2019 10:11 am

While experimenting with my ongoing EPI journey I inadvertently took this image. I will not disclose what it is of, but maybe others have seen similar before. It was not taken with an EPI objective, just a standard APO one (10x) using vertical illumination. Photographed with a Nikon D300s fitted to a Nikon S series microscope. The APO is a Lomo one. It is, of course, a single image, i.e., no stacking. Note: the second higher contrast image is using a standard non-APO Nikon objective.
