Egyptian Blue : Fluorescence

#1 Post by MichaelG. » Thu Apr 02, 2020 9:28 am

This, from the Smithsonian, may be of interest:

https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-ne ... 180974559/

The referenced communication in ‘Nature’ is a free download of 11 pages

I feel sure that there is something of practical use to me in their discovery, but I am struggling with the expert jargon

Most grateful if someone could do a brief summary in Plain English, at a level which lies somewhere between the Smithsonian’s story and the original document.
