Leica Leitz DMIL Lamp Lambda Waveplate

So this looks like a filter for a DMIL lamp. What would a full lambda waveplate inserted right after the light source?

Here's the manual with the filters, but Leica doesn't list them. I'm still looking. But is the lambda e-bay item one of those filters? There part name was given in the listing, but the manuals I have do not say: "Leica Leitz Wetzlar Microscope 32mm 35mm Filter Lambda λ 513569 Polarizing Lens"

So I found an epi that takes 32/35 mm holders. But I'm not seeing an insert slot for one between the objective and the camera. And that's where I thought a full waveplate might have some use to add some chromatic effects. (https://www.ebay.com/i/283830305606?chn ... 5oQAvD_BwE)
