Hi everyone, looking forward to reading and posting in these forums - and discussions with you all!
I am a (retired now) IT person - specialized in data networking & data security, Bachelor’s in Computer Science from University of Phoenix.
So nowadays I have a keen interest in deploying my soon to arrive (so Santa said haha) Amscope SM-3T trinoc stereo scope - for two general uses:
1) I am an electronics tinkerer/experimenter/inventor and will be soldering smd circuits and devices under the stereo gaze.
2) Also I have been prospecting for precious metals for several years and will be focusing more on finding small hard rock veins - so will be examining crushed (to powder) rock ores to find gold too small to see without optics.
I have a couple initial questions and so will post in the related forums.
