Hello from Nova Scotia

As a kid I was interested in everything to do with nature. Back then I had a great intro metal microscope and kit stored in a nice little wooden box. The make was Lumex.

Now that I'm retired I can rekindle that interest and to that end my wife bought me an Omax microscope a couple of Christmasses ago.

As a kid I never got much deeper with the microscope than looking at some insects and the prepared sample slides. I'm hoping with the help of the forum I will go a little deeper into the micro world.

Due to a bit (Lol) of OCD I've acquired a great collection of related books as well. A number of the best looking books l acquired were out-of-print used books.
