I've been on this forum and the old one for a couple months now so I thought I might as well introduce myself. My name is Luke and I'm from central Massachusetts (northeast United States). I have been using a student binocular microscope for about a year and I love this hobby so far. I dream of some day having a higher quality microscope with DIC or phase contrast, but I don't plan on paying for them any time soon. For taking photos, I have a digital camera that I hold up to an eyepiece. So far, my favorite part about microscopy is finding new microorganisms to identify, and this forum has been a great help with that so far.
