Greetings

Hi everyone. I am glad to have found this forum and so many like-minded hobbyists with an interest in exploring the invisible! Starting with an old Nikon Skt stand and the usual achromat objectives as a swap for an old SLR lens, I've been bottom-fishing on eBay with the goal of producing high-quality digital photos of what I see. This has turned out to be harder than I expected, but at last I've put together a setup that is working well for me, with an Optiphot stand, some CF and CFN objectives, a good condenser and 2.5x eyepiece projection with a full-frame SLR. I am looking forward to sharing results and getting feedback and advice from the group.

Yes. Welcome to the forum. Photographers usually master the fine points of photomicrography easier than microscopists. Microscopists, on the other hand , usually find more interesting stuff to photograph.
