Hi. New to the forum
Thank you for billporter1456 your help in registering the fórum.
My name is Francisco, I live in Spain and I am an amateur in microscopy in general and aquatic micro-organisms in particular.
I have some microscopes acquired over the years (I have an advanced age) among which are some Lomo microscopes and a PZO with which I currently use.
Thank you for accepting me in your forum.
Best regards
Francisco

Welcome again ...
It was designed for a Zeiss 12v 60w Lamphouse - have you adapted it to something else?
Are you using the aluminum bar LED conversion?... some Lomo microscopes and a PZO with which I currently use.

Francisco, the video master! Welcome to this forum!
Which LOMO scope do you have and what do you mainly used it for?
I mainly use my LOMO Biolam as a portable.
I am guessing some Tiyoda microscopes were made based on old Zeiss design and thus have compatibility with LOMOs and old Zeiss.
My main scope is a Frankenstein too, though not as extreme as yours . My main frame is a Nikon Optiphot teaching dual head scope with Nikon S monocular head for camera and binocular head for viewing. Objectives are LOMO water/dry apos and condenser is a Leitz Heine. I raised up Nikon's stage and condenser mount 12mm for those short LOMO objectives, and used Legos and glue to mount Heine onto a Nikon dovetail condenser adapter. Light source is a DIY 40w LED.
Edit: Did you have to modify your Nikon stand to mount PZO DIC? I heard Olympus BH2 head is a direct fit for PZO
DIC stand. So I am guessing Nikon - PZO is not directly compatible?

Hi
zzffnn: Thanks for your comment
I have some Lomo models: Biolam M, MBI 11, MBI 15, ML 2, MPS 1 ......
These are excellent microscopes but I use them little. I usually use the PZO because it has the DIC system.
The adaptation of the PZO to the base of the Fluophot does not need any modification, except the centering. To adapt the Nikon S head I had to make an adapter (in methacrylate) as the dovetail is of different diameter.
Charlie g: Thank you
I collect water from the Albufera Park in Valencia - Spain.
In this zone is fresh water (river Turia) and salt water (Mediterranean Sea).
The rice fields, when flooded, are magnificent to find typical microorganisms of fresh and salt water.
Regards
Francisco

Thank you, Francisco.
So Nikon S head fits Fluophot without modification, correct? I am guessing PZO DIC head attachment has dovetail of 42mm?
