#1 Post by Gatote » Sun Nov 19, 2017 4:33 pm

Hi to all you fellow lovers of microscopy

I recently acquired a binocular Vickers M15 but cannot find a manual.
Does anyone have an idea where I can get one?

Thanks guys

Britain seems to have abandoned their noble microscope history faster than the Germans managed to throw anything East German on the junkpile. Completely odd to me, given the quality level they had. Have you tried one of the larger dealers? Sometimes they might offer to photocopy, although some of them can be as tight fisted as Scrooge.

The Vickers Instruments archives are at the Borthwick Institute for Archives at the University of York. Apparently there are 128 boxes of stuff.

Hi
Are you still looking for a Vickers M15 Manual, I have a user handbook for a M15c I could scan and email a copy of.

Hi Dave,
I'd be interested in getting hold of a Vickers M15c manual, did you scan it for the other chap?

Cheers
