Hello, my name is John. I am coming to the world of microscopy form the world of the macroscopic - namely Astronomy. Health issues, relative rarity of clear skies and neighbours security lights combined to persuade me to sell my telescopes. Recently my 17 year old daughter expressed an interest in things microscopic so I decided it was time to start a new hobby, one that I could do inside in the warm....
This is the only forum I have found so far and I need to ask some basic questions hence I am now registered here.
