I have always been the nerdy smart type. All of my friends would think I am strange if they knew I was into microscopy (that tells you more about them than me). I had a Celestron microscope about 4 years ago and that was my intro into this fascinating hobby. I could not beleive what I saw in one drop of pond water. I literally spent over an hour just delving into a galaxy that I had no idea of. After that experience- I was and still am, hooked.
I never forgot my experience with my first microscope 4 years ago. I am now looking to get back into this hobby looking at life in a whole new galaxy.
