;) my interest today is watches - new ones and vintage. I have bought a stereo microscope to work on vintage watches. Maybe I will be interested in ordinary microscope work - time will showe.

Welcome Olsen
I have bought a stereo microscope to work on vintage watches.
Which stereoscope did you buy? Some photos of it and your workbench would be interesting to see.
Zeiss Standard WL (somewhat fashion challenged) & Wild M8
Olympus E-P2 (Micro Four Thirds Camera)

Welcome! A lot of people doing electronics, watchmaking, jeweling etc seem to be big fans of these Meiji clones (sold by Amscope and many others). I hope you'll let us know how you like it!

Ooooh i can bring you business :)
Have a Longines pocketwatch from the beginning of last century and a cold-war era MIG chronometer. I don’t dare touch their entrails. What sort of work do you do on watches?
