Grüetzi
Grüetzi
I like optics. And fine mechanics. I come from astrophoto so the razor-thin dof in microscopy kills me. Lacking a proper camera accessory, i shoot with a mirrorless APS-C through the eyepiece (does this add magnification?). I’ll post details of the setup in the relevant section. Having great fun identifying protozoa.

Welcome ! I also came from decades of astrophotography and share your love of optics and mechanics. At least there will be no cloudy nights with this pursuit . I stayed up all night many nights doing AP, but now I'm staying up too late every night with the microscopeNerdoid wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2019 6:59 pmI like optics. And fine mechanics. Re: Grüetzi
I do agree conditions are waaay better than astrophoto and microscopy is quite rewardingmintakax wrote: ↑Tue Oct 15, 2019 2:21 pmWelcome !
