Hello
Hi, my name is Michael. Approaching my 8th decade, I've just bought my first microscope, and I've really enjoyed the couple of hours critter gazing... my first tardigrade and my first rotifers. Many thanks to Oliver, and Journey to the Microcosmos, for turning me on to this fascinating world. I'm looking forward to joining in.

Hi Michael,
welcome to the forum!
Plancton life is really interesting and it even can be installed in the house in form an small pond tanks of 1-20 liters.
In this forum you will find help if needed and will get a lot of ideas to follow with you microscope.

Re: Hello
Thank you all. I've only had my first microscope for a week or so, but having great fun already... sampling from jars of water and silt from the local stream, and from puddles in the park... and I've got a 40l aquarium on order. I've just got to get photography set up now. Wish I'd discovered this hobby years ago.
Thanks again for your welcomes.
Michael
