When I was in school I was fascinated about the microscopic world but because the microscopes were very expensive (at that time) I couldn’t follow my passion.
Now, because I decent microscope is not that expensive and I have some spare time, I decided to buy one.
I started with the Celestron MicroDirect, because I wanted to have the pictures/videos on my computer so my boys can watch easily. As some of the videos are quite good (at least this is what I think) I started a YouTube channel where I upload my videos that I am most proud of.
Because I am an amateur and I don’t know much about microscopes, optics and relative stuff I came to this forum to exchange ideas and get more information about the microscopes.

Re: Hello everybody
Welcome. You and I are about at the same place. My boy just turned 50 though.
