Newbie from France

#1 Post by Fred » Wed Jun 24, 2020 8:55 pm

Hello Microfans !
My name is Fred. I live near Paris, France.
Since many years, I love photography, macrophotography, telescopes, and I really wanted to have also a microscope. I started by buying a cheap video camera "DNT" to observe insects and many things with my son. We loved what we saw and decided to break the bank to buy a Swift 380T and also its camera 10 megapixels.
We have this since two days now, and we are very astonished by what we can discover with it. I have made two or three photos with it (instagram: @fredlittlestone) by using focus stacking by hand.
Nowadays, we are collecting stuff, dead insects, rocks, plants, hairs, skins, to observe them with the Swift.

Hope to exchange with you.

Fred

PS: Sorry for my bad english.

I'm using the 380T also and want to buy a Swift camera for it. Is the 10mp producing good images? Please post some pictures. I would also be interested in a full size file so I can check it out in Photoshop.

Thanks
