Olympus IX70 Inverted Part
Olympus IX70 Inverted Part
What part is this marked in red? I can't find the part number to look up. It has a pull handle on it for T.D. and VIS. The filter box is this part (http://www.olympus.com.cn/upload/access ... 992393.pdf) so it is not a part of that.
So what is the "T.D."? It's pretty big if it is just for optics to switch between lamps.

It's a FVX-TD-IX Transmitted Light Detector Unit!

It's "used to obtain transmitted light images". You can download the manual. Kind of interesting.

If you find a pointer to a manual, let me know. I don't know that I'm finding the good stuff on this.

Re: Olympus IX70 Inverted Part
Thanks. But the pdfs match the one I had mentioned earlier. I'm flipping through them to check. So I must be missing the part that mentions the TD versus VIS and the light transmission detector adapter details -- other than the picture that basically says it exists.
