My fine focus knob is proving hard to use. Often I achieve good focus with the rough adjustment then use the fine adjustment to refine focus further or to focus in and out and the entire focus slips. How does one tighten the fine focus?

I have an Amscope M100 mono lens with separate fine focus knobs.

Thanks Gerard. My microscope has separate fine and course focus knobs. I contacted the dealer (Amscope) and they told me to toghten by turning the fina and course knobs in opposite directions. I tried that and it seems to have worked more or less.
