Labophot 2 condenser holder Help!

Now KD has got problems!When I microscopied , this little metal piece came flying " Sproooing " sounded. Where should it sit? Have looked at the Labophot repair manual but did not really understand where! Maybe someone has a photo on their Labophot 2 condenser holder? Please help! // KD

I am not familiar with the Labophot 2 but have a lot of experience with this sort of problem. Could these photos from eBay listings help?

KD - it inserts directly behind the "horseshoe" (the opening of which takes the condenser). There should be a small plastic piece attached with two screws at the back - it gets centered just above that.

Thank you so much Hans and Pete for being so helpful. Unfortunately the little plastic piece was missing! However, I have put the piece of metal there and it works temporarily. Probably there was no piece of plastic there, when I bought the microscope so it was probably a cheating job ... //
