Microscope table

Greetings to all, if the post does not go in this section, let a moderator or administrator move it, thank you very much, this time I need advice on a table that I want to put in that hole that I have in my room, my idea would be to put the microscopes and not move them from there, you can give me ideas of types or models of tables that are not very expensive ???

What I would do is to remove the existing desk and replace it with a massive lab bench:

I second the bench. I picked one up new at what I felt was a reasonable price, but used ones can be found at university auctions and a decent wodworker should be able to make one. I'm usually *ahem* frugal, but I bought new as the cost seemed similar to the hassle of finding a used one with the additional cost of transporting it here; laziness won out. It's solidly built, so when I'm gone it will hopefully serve many more generations of curious persons.

I have used kitchen tables, desks, and such; sometimes we use what we can get rather than what we really want. I like the rigidity of the bench and knowing I could literally pile a ton of material on it and it would hold up fine with the only effect being it becoming a little more stable. My prior workplace was an old industrial desk my employer gave me which was also quite heavy duty, but the typical drawers designed for papers and files don't fit my needs well. With the bench, I slide stacking plastic tubs under it and that works better for me. I was worried a 6' bench might be too much in 3.25m x 3m (11 foot x 10 foot) room with the other typical bedroom furniture, but it fit well.

I just plopped my 100 pounds of Vanox on my homemade workbench, but it's about as stout as one of those lab benches. I made it out of an old piece of 2" thick counter about 8' long that someone was throwing out. Made 2x4 legs anchored into the concrete block wall then 2 more down from the front underside of the counter to the base of the ones anchored to the wall. Also have a steel tensioner underneath spanning the length of the table. That type of workbench is easy to build and could be an option for you if you must fit in the small space there. People toss out nice stout countertops all the time too.

The OP space is unlikely to be suitable for microscopes.
Only moments after this image was taken there would have been several more on the top,more underneath with another on the chair.
A caged area with shelving,drawers and cupboards may contain them where four walls often fail.

Something like this might work for that space. You could leave off the wheels to make it even more sturdy.
(I'm waiting for it to come back in stock as I need one for another project.)
