An objective for every situation

I never thought I would collect so many objetives but I seem to have one for just about every need. It looks impressive but there is a lot of duplication. However, several of the objectives have longer working distances than others, which I find that useful when viewing pond water without using a cover slip.

The objectives are mounted on removable turrets for the older Olympus BH2-BHT and can be removed and replaced in seconds.

You probably also never thought that you would ever collect that many nosepieces!

What I find is that I have favourite objectives that are useful in different setups and make me change the setup on the nosepieces, mixing everything up. What i like is to have a separate nosepiece for oil objectives and corresponding LWD low power objective. To use them on a detatchable nosepiece is a bit risky though: When removing the nosepiece all objectives have to be cleaned quite well to avoid oil from seeping in the gap between barrel and spring loaded front group.

I got a highly modular setup with interchangeable nosepiece, but Nikon designed it to not be an easy swap :( I'll admit I'm a bit jealous.

Phase contrast.
DIC.
Metallurgical.
B/D.

That's four turrets worth right there.

Or four microscopes. That'd be easier, but who's got room for four microscopes.....except for that one German dude.

I am confused you say "many" objectives but I only see 16
