So tell me what you paid for this model and what year
This model came out, and would you say this model

The micscape article by David Walker that this photo appears in clearly states the model and year. You might want to read it.

If however you just want to post questions apropos of nothing, in order to pass the time,
then you might want to join the facebook microscopy page.
It is remarkably well suited for that.

You can then reserve the use of this forum to ask those questions that you have
not been able to find an answer to despite extensive reading and an assiduous internet search.

Hmm, MicroInspector I'm sorry to say that I'm with 75' here old chap.
You're just rambling-on and wasting time here mostly - a chat-group would be better for you I think.
You'd get far more of the conversation and discussion that you like in such a group.

MicroInspector,

This is a photo of a typical toy Chinese microscope available in any department store. It is a very poor quality toy. The black tube on tope is use to top off immersion oil. You need about a liter for it to work properly.
