Hello I want to know if a Zeiss axiskop is a good investment or is it a old piece of junk the one I found on LabX and has a strange 4x5 photo screen kinda like the Zeiss universal with the round view screen on it looks kinda like old star trek 70s stuff, but has a 6 pos turret.
looks like the standard 20 though.

The phrase 'may not be suitable' is preferable to 'junk' though some microscopes have been so mistreated as to deserve that appellation.
If you provide a link to the item perhaps someone can give you an opinion.
Can tell you now that it is an infinity system microscope.

Correct I ment Junk as the the bad build quality I have heard from on the late 80s and early 90sMichaelG. wrote:I guess it's this one:

Not so much a 'view screen' ... more an integrated large format camera, with a Polaroid 545 film holder currently installed.
I am not familiar with the unit, but it appears to have the 35mm camera [black brick] installed as well.

WOW that is OLD 4x5 views cameras are very vintage 60s and 70s but curiously the Microscope does not look dated? anyone know the introduction time of this scope?
