Question about Phototube and reduction lenses.

#1 Post by clipi » Sun Nov 11, 2018 5:57 pm

Hello
I am trying to build a Leitz phototube with different parts (for a Laborlux 12).
I can't find de Leitz 162226 which is a 0.32x barlow lens I belive.
My question is, if instead of using a 10x ocular in the phototube I use a 6.3x lens
will it be equivalent to using the 0.33x?
Thanks

,,,don't think so. It is 63% or ,63 of the magnification of the 10X oculars , if the photo tube is of a length to create parfocality.

What is your sensor size?
