Leica DMLS fine drive repair
Re: Leica DMLS fine drive repair
Perhaps someone will have experience.
What little I can offer, having replaced a power supply in a DMLS, is that when looking up into the focus mechanism it looked to be a simple and robust affair. The two DMLS I have are still focusing fine after all these years - perhaps a testament to the basic design. A guess is that it would be fairly straight forward to tear into it and re-lubricate it if hardened grease is the problem. Another wild guess is that you'd have to find a donor scope if something like a rack or pinion is stripped.

Hi
I am having a similar issues on several Leica DME scopes? How did you end up fixing your issue?
Thanks!
Mike
