The Meiji ML5500 was only recently discontinued by Meiji June of 2019. They are still offered for sale on Amazon for $3300 without external lighting!

I own a Meiji ML5500 equipped with darkfield. It is very nicely built scope. The optics are very good and you can not beat the price.
Anyone looking for an excellent scope built like a tank with excellent optics should jump on this!!
