Very interessting Francisco, so many forms unlike what I see around here.

What objective did you use?

Beautiful image captures, thanks francisco. Just yesterday I was observing freshwater algae clump from my area stream...very similar body plan to your diatom at : 1:48 second of your video. Now I have to lookup what genus of diatoms these are.

Every time I see nice diatoms like this I want to get a plankton net and give it a try. Beautiful!
