Took it today. 100X oblique dark field eye piece projection. JimT

That looks a little small for a 100x objective. Was that 100x total magnification ?
Any idea of the size of the Desmid ?

10x objective with 10x eyepiece projection. Total ~ 100X. Desmid ~ 250-300um's

Very good oblique illumination giving a distinct 3-D effect for the Closterium. Would you kindly explain what you mean by "oblique dark field eye piece projection"?

Dark field filter off center combined with a green filter. JimT

It's how I take photos with my Canon (60D); thru the eyepiece to the camera sensor. JimT
