My first try at focus stacking from my microscope images. This was only 4 images, but it is still better than I could get with 1 :D

Thanks! I have not attempted to make a more specific ID, but I can tell you it took up most of the frame @100x and I found it in some algae in the Delaware canal :)

Definitely order Cyclopoida. I don’t have a good reference for better ID, unfortunately.

You found one with beautiful egg pods.

oh yeah, those egg pods looked even cooler in dark field, but it moved too much to get multiple images for focus stacking when I was doing dark field
