Don - cool image. Can you tell us a bit more about the preparation? I'm assuming a 100x objective - but the source of the biofilm bubble and the bacteria?? Any change over a day or so?

I made a culture from old dry grass. After a few days, protists emerge but so do a full range of bacteria. The bacteria form these films that trap organic materials including cysts of protists. This is my 60x objective under mixed illumination.
