Oscillatoria, baby!

#1 Post by tabkiel » Tue Oct 27, 2020 11:30 pm

Hello!!

Went to the park today to collect some samples and found the weird friend linked below.

Was frantically writing in Identification Help cause I had no clue what it was until my dad came in and told me it was probably an Oscillatoria.

So I'm posting it here cause it's very cool and I think it's crazy how it moves with no cilia, flagellum or pseudopodia! I thought it was a very weird slug or an entirely new species at first lol
