enclosed leaf csts of "wine" made with clear nail lacquer from my wife :lol:

Very nice - they really have come-out well!
A great method for quick documentation of surface characters, and with almost fresh morphology too.

@Don: It`s avery simple method, cover the surface of a leaf with clear nail varnish or glue, let it try and after that peel it off, mount the skin on a slide.

Hi Manfred,
beautiful images! This really is a nice method with several possible variations. Apart from solvent based nail polish one can use UV curing nail polish or uv glues.
