I think this one is a Urocentrum, I'm just mesmerised at the way it revolves showing it's internal organs.

The first one looks like Urocentrum, but I have never seen one before, only pictures
The rotifer looks more like Colurella to me.

Nice clear image, with lots of contrast. Yes, it's Urocentrum. It's effectively a one-species genus, so we are allowed to call it Urocentrum turbo. (I have nothing to say about the rotifer...I usually ignore animals! ).

I have to admit, rotifers are pretty amazing. But if I start paying attention to animals, there will be no room in my little brain for the more important things.
