Aquatic alphabet
I came across this arrangement of a diatom and possibly a nematode, resembling pictogram characters. They are from a small very high ph pond that forms in a bottom land on a local cemetary. The pond subsequently drains via a little creek, into Lake Ontario.

"They are from a small very high ph pond that forms in a bottom land on a local cemetary. The pond subsequently drains via a little creek, into Lake Ontario." ... and then into the drinking supply.
Would rather end up with that nice Diatom in my glass than the Nematode, less protein but nicer, much nicer.

yes; but the nematode is doing the downward dog, so is probably a vegan nematode.......kind of looks iron and B12 deficient, come to think of it.75RR wrote:"They are from a small very high ph pond that forms in a bottom land on a local cemetary.
