Mniobia sp. ?

#1 Post by 75RR » Sun Jul 19, 2015 1:04 pm

Tentative ID: Rotifera-Bdelloida-Philodinidae-Mniobia sp.

It appears to be enveloped by an accordion like transparent sheath which I have not seen/noticed before.
Two alga are 15µm and 20µm respectively (It is very hard to measure Rotifers that do not have a shell)

Thanks. Had provisionally named it Plump Rotifer until I came up with a tentative ID :)
