State of the Salt Water Biome

I take stock of the salt water biome from Hannah's salt water aquarium. It has narrowed in scope. Only one ciliate group dominates. But there are lots of tiny flagellates and bacteria. The algae are decorative--serving as a meeting place for life.

Great video! When searching for microbes in aquariums, you can try looking inside the filter. There's all sorts of debris in there that can be host to many microbes.

Actually the water and algae came from an aquarium but I have no filtering.
