Beautiful images...I love P.bursaria for it's greens! Those symbiotic algae partner with Hydras, rotifers, protists!

You have a beautiful image capture sense to my eyes, your DIC stand is sweet. thanks, charlie guevara

Amazing shots. Exquisite detail and color.

In the first image, in the left half, are the small particles cilia viewed ~end-on? And are the striations bordering the left side cilia seen in side-view?

I tried to fix the paramecium with a fixative solution to get the cilia visible.

Much more visible. They look longer and more profuse than I expected.

Excellent result. I didn't know that the cilia were that thick.
