I think someone had asked for an macro shot. This is a little slice I took today with stereo scope.

Almost looks like a moth.
What set up are you using? Seems to be a lot of focus fall off at the edges.

Cyclops I used a American optical stereo scope set at 10x with LED lights from above. The hyphae are very fine as this image may show a little better, and also the specimen is not at all flat. This is a sample of the same species but another section flipped over to show the other side in this photo. I`m not sure what the species is though, but was concealed in darkness inside a rotten log.
