Fantastic amoeba, sinabro, thank you. I keep repeat watching that diatom which is at first clearly encased in a vacuole. Even as this lucky diatom is expelled from the amoeba..we see the vacuole which contained it collapse onto the last pole of the diatom still 'inside' the amoeba. I wonder whose idea it was to exit from the amoebas cytosol? The amoeba rejecting this diatom..or the diatom prefering life out doors ?
