What great images! You should be proud of that work. It's worthy of publication. Greg

Many thanks, my set up it is very easy, I use an old Zeiss laboval 4 with a condenser for oblique light and planapo zeiss.
I consider oblique light a poor DIC but whith a nice tridimensional effect.

Here another example!

Those are very great images, very nicely done using methods we seldom see. Did you say you're using an oblique condenser?

Yes, in Italian we use to call this technic "Luce radente" and condenser is like this:

As I sad it is a very poor system but I found that it is possible to have interesting result, I try the same with Protist and it is great!

Another picture take with planapo400, 400x

Very nice work, are they single shot photos or focus stacks?

I am finding offset oblique difficult to focus stack in my hands, thought single frame works great.

Circular oblique light is easier for stacking, but contrast is not as enhanced as offset oblique.

Excellent images. The result counts, not the cost of equipment or the sophistication.
