After seeing a recent post by Rob Beardon, I went out and bought the Everclear and amino acids. Then I drank all the Everclear and forgot what I was planning to do.

Thanks mineral rob. I didn't have much luck with the initial mix of ethanol, water alanine and glutamine. I then added some citric acid powder/crystals and let the slides sit near a sunny window. I got some nice results while the mixture was sticky wet with only initial crystallization sites. I'm learning to make a lot of slides and hope that something good happens. Here are 2 new ones.
