Residents of the Murk

The murky biofilm loaded stagnant pool in my water jar continues to deepen. This time I chose a sample more on the fringes of the container. The biofilm is a little less dense here. One dead rotifer marks the beginning of the show.

Don,

Interesting.

I bought a long working distance 20x objective on eBay.
The price for LWD is a decrease in numerical aperture but might give more depth of field in a biofilm
